dc.description.abstractWe have used the WO3/IrO2-based electrochemical microdiode in the liquid state. It was found that the diode can work stably in H2O and liquid states was then made with different pH value. A comparison between the I-V characteristics in the solid. We next placed a glucose oxidase layer over the WO3/IrO2 electrochemical microdiode and used it to detect glucose. This device makes use of the catalysis reaction of glucoseoxidase which generates H+ ion that can reduce forward current in the microdiode. The microdiode was found to be usable as a liquid- state glucose microsensor. We also performed some experiments on the electrode characteristics of nickel hydroxide. These experiments are instended to show the pH-dependent behavior of this electrochromic material in alkaline solutions.zh_TW
