Abstract: 在本論文中我們研究了週期漸變光纖光柵的理論、製作及應用。理論上我
們利用耦合模方程式模擬了光柵鐘形化(apodization)對光纖光柵特性的
影響以及因耦合到輻射模所造成的穿透頻譜變化。在實驗上我們使用週期
漸變相位光罩實際製作出具有高反射率的週期漸變光纖光柵,然後應用此
週期漸變光纖光柵來作色散補償及穿透式窄頻濾波器。我們也利用光纖光
柵製作出窄頻的光纖雷射,藉由調變光纖光柵的週期我們可自由改變光纖
雷射的出波長。
In this thesis we study the modeling, fabrication and
application of chirped fiber gratings. In the theoretical side
we used the couple-mode equations to simulate the effects of
apodization and radiation-mode coupling. In the experiment side
we have fabricated high-reflectivity chirped fiber gratings
using the chirped phase mask approach. These chirped fiber
gratings are then used as dispersion compensators and narrow-
linewidth transmission filters. Finally, we also use fiber
gratings to build tunable narrow-linewidth transmission filters.
Finally, we also use fiber gratings to build tunable narrow-
linewidth Er-fiber lasers.
