摘要: 本篇論文提出一套模擬中國結的系統,這套系統將複雜的中國結幾何造型 歸納為五種組合單元,由這五種組成單元來建構出許多已知的中國結幾何 造型,而且這套系統所用的建構方法是一般性的,因此甚至可以自由創造 出『新品種』的中國結。除了幾何造型之外,我們亦提出一個快速的方法 來模擬中國結本體毛線條的視覺效果,以加強模擬的逼真度。 In this thesis, we propose a system to simulate Chinese knots. This systemdecomposes complex Chinese knots geometry into five construction units and simulates lots of existing well-known Chinese knots by organizing theseconstruction units. The organizing mechanism of Chinese knots synthesis ishighly general. Therefore, one can create new "spice" of Chinese knots inhis own inspiration. Moreover, in order to offer realistic visual effects,we also propose an efficient method to simulate the fabrics details ofthreads.
