dc.description.abstract電腦軟體如何符合使用者的需求,是電腦與人類互動(HCI),以及電腦 系統中的人因問題,這兩個新興領域的重要課題。設計師使用電腦輔助設 計軟體,同樣面臨了難題,如何有效率地使用,有助於完成設計工作,是 重要的研究課題。但是以設計師這個特殊族群,及以電腦輔助設計軟體角 度出發的相關研究,並不多見。有相關研究,以兩個不同圖面複雜程度的 工程圖任務,利用GOMS模式中的Keystroke層級分析圖面,預估繪製的時 間,並實際加以測試,證實這個效率的評估方式可行。在另外一研究中, 有人提出了電腦繪圖行為中,存在著細部繪製-整合-操弄(DAM)的策 略運用模式,跟手繪行為不同;如果以電腦軟體功能的LAMM分類為輔助, 分析電腦操作流程,找出最有效率的策略模式,教導給使用者,將會提升 軟體使用的效率。本篇論文嘗試承繼上述兩篇研究,設計一套分析流程: 設定不同複雜程度的繪圖任務,要求有軟體使用經驗的設計師在手繪環境 與電腦繪製環境中進行繪製任務;首先,先進行一個初步測試,以檢測實 驗是否過程順利,以及分析是否可行。在初步測試的分析後,修正了繪製 圖樣的數目,並且修改先前研究的LAMM功能分類,以繪圖輔助-細部繪製 -整合-操弄-修改(DaDAMMo)的新編碼方式,來分析手繪與電腦繪製 的行為與功能運用。在正式實驗中,四位有豐富軟體使用經驗的設計師, 被要求在手繪環境與電腦繪製環境中完成三個繪圖任務,其中兩位設計師 運用Illustrator軟體,另兩位設計師運用AutoCAD軟體。四位受測者的繪 圖流程,被錄影記錄,並加以分析。分析中首先預估各繪製圖樣的最佳 DAM策略形式,然後實際比較受測者的電腦繪圖行為,觀察策略的運用是 否如預估的出現,並了解牽涉的功能運用。另外,也進行受測者手繪與電 腦繪製之間的行為比較,以及不同軟體及不同受測者之間策略運用比較。 實驗結果中,受測者的繪圖策略以及功能運用,可以透過這樣的分析而被 清楚的歸類與比較。研究結果顯示,影響DAM策略中如何細部繪製圖形的 因素,包括不同繪圖軟體定義繪圖元件的方式,以及受測者本身內心支解 圖形(mental decomposition)的差異。另外,相同的DAM策略,其功能 運用也可能不同,也因而出現效率的差異;而其可能發生的原因,值得另 外加以探討。 How computer softwares meet the need of users is an important research issue of HCI and human factors in computing system. Designers using CAD software always face a efficiency puzzle in real world design process. However, there are few researchs with the perspective of the interaciton of designer and CAD software. In a related research, two mechanical drawing task were analyzed with keystroke level in GOMS model. The time to complete the task was estimated and tested to verify the evaluation method. A DAM strategy in computer drawing was proposed in another research. With the LAMM function classification, the best DAM strategy can be found and taught to improved the efficiency of computer drawing. Based on these two research, a analysis procedure is proposed: graphic drawing tasks with different complexity are chosenA pilot test is processed first to test whether the experiment procedure and the analysis is feasible. After examining the early result, the number of test sample is reduced to 3, and the LAMM function classification is modified as drawing-aid, detail, aggregate, manipulate and modify (DaDAMMo). In the formal experiment, 4 designers are asked to finish 3 drawing task with hand drawing and CAD softwares, 2 of them using Illustrator software and other using AutoCAD software. The drawing procedure are recordedThe best DAM strategies predicted are compared to the real strategies adpopted by subjects in order to find whether the best strategies have been adopted in the drawing procedure and what are the related functions used in the corresponding strategies. The action of hand drawing is also compared to the strategy of the corresponding computer drafting. Finally, the strategies adopted among different subjects and among different softwares are analyzed.The result shows that various strategies and their related function usages can be found and classified during the drawing procedure. The result also concludes that, the aspect of detail (D) in DAM strategy is affected by different element definitions of software packages, and different ways of mental decompositions of different designers. Meanwhiles, same DAM strategy may approaches with different function usages. The difference may be one of the reasons of efficiency discrepancy, and it can be discussed inzh_TW
