| dc.description.abstract | A battery-free radio frequency identification card which incorporates a dual-beam angle-diversity leaky-mode antenna is presented. The integrated antenna is operated at 11.9 GHz. and shows 20.4 dBi directivity, 16.3 dB gain, and 3-dB beamwidth of (Az/El) 23□/24□. By placing a horn antenna at 2.5 meters away for receiving the coded, modulated signals from the transponder, we obtain the demodulated signals matched identically to the coding signals at the transponder. | en_US |
