dc.description.abstract | 隨著網際網路的盛行以及軟體地域化的成熟,慢慢有人想把網路目前使用的網址表示法以自己所熟悉的語言來表示,所以有一些中文位址的研究計畫正在進行中。在本論文中,我們將架構一個整合目錄服務的網際網路電子郵件系統;我們將利用目錄服務來儲存使用者的個人資料,讓應用軟體可以透LDAP 標準通訊協定間接的解決電子郵件中的中文位址問題;即使在將來多語言網址成為標準,我們系統還是一樣可以順利的運作。 除了中文位址問題,我們建構了一個集中式的目錄資料庫,透過該資料庫可以讓系統簡化網路管理;同時透過集中式的使用者認證,我們系統的所有服務可以輕易的分散到不同的機器。另外我們透過 DNS循迴式排程的運作方式,可以透過一台以上的機器來接受使用者的連線要求。我們也利用使用者資料建構了一個白頁服務,藉著白頁服務,使用者可以寄信而不用知道收信人的電子郵件地址。在本論文中,我們架構了一個以目錄服務為核心的雛形系統,透過該系統,可以讓系統可以更可靠以及可以提供更好的服務。 | zh_TW |
dc.description.abstract | With the growth of Internet and the mature of computer software products, few approaches have been proposed to solve the mulilingual DNS problem, while mature Non-ASCII addressing system is still under development. In this thesis, we develop a web-based E-mail system with Chinese addressing capabilities by integrating the directory service technology. By storing users’ profiles on directory servers, software with directory-enabled capabilities could be easily used to extract the ASCII E-mail information for further utilization. In addition to Chinese e-mail addressing, a centralized authentication database, which could simplify the network management, is constructed as a directory server to solve the authentication and load balance problem. Because of the centralized authentication mechanism, the services of our system can be independent and can be easily distributed to different machines. Furthermore, the DNS round-robin mechanism is used to build a system with mirror components. That is, more than one machine can be provided to serve the clients' request. A white page server, which can be used to search the users' information, is also implemented in our system based on the directory server. We can send mails to the receivers without knowing the e-mail address beforehand with the help of white page service. In the thesis, we construct a prototype system which shows that the goal of reliability and availability can be achieved by the help of directory server. | en_US |
