dc.description.abstract本論文闡述毫米波單平面功率放大器的研製,採用混成式單平面MIC電路結構製作放大器,並且運用共平面波導(CPW)串聯開路支線作為電路匹配元件,使其能適用於毫米波27.5至29.5GHz的頻段(LMDS 28GHz),而輸出功率希望能有20dBm。 我們將介紹以功率匹配法及增益匹配法兩種匹配方式設計功率放大器電路,並研析其優缺點;如果放大器增益低於10dB時,使用增益匹配能在Ka頻段有較佳表現。數種多級功率放大器的輸出功率與增益關係中顯示只有在高增益的條件下才能引用輸出功率匹配法。最後引用Lange耦合器設計並製作平衡式功率放大器以提昇輸出功率。另外,我們新研究出串聯開路支線的CPW結構與理想傳輸線之間特殊的轉換關係,並製成對照關係表於本論文中,對將來以CPW串聯開路支線設計的電路提供更精確、更有效率的研究方法。zh_TW
dc.description.abstractThis thesis presents a series of millimeter-wave power amplifiers using hybrid uniplanar MIC configuration and CPW series open stub as matching components. The power amplifiers normally operate at the millimeter-wave band (27.5~29.5GHz) with output power of 20dBm and are suitable for the LMDS application (28GHz). The circuit design of power amplifier is based on two types of matching methods, namely, output power match and gain match. The study of the advantages and disadvantages of these two matching methods will be discussed in the thesis. The amplifier with gain match usually shows better performance in Ka-band if the gain of the amplifier is less than 10dB. The relationships between input power and output power and gain among several types of multi-stage power amplifiers reveal that the method of power match can be used only when the amplifier is with the enough gain. A balanced-type power amplifier combined by Lange couplers is applied to enhance the output power. A relationship of series open stub between CPW and ideal transmission lines is proposed and listed in the table in this thesis. This table provides a more accurate and efficient research method to the future circuit design using CPW series open stub.en_US
