dc.description.abstract | In recent years, development of solid-state lasers pumped by laser diodes have attracted much attention because of their compact, long-lived, good beam quality, and high efficient properties suited for various applications. This dissertation focuses on studying and modeling of high-power diode-end-pumped solid-state laser. However, power-scaling of diode-end-pumped solid-state lasers have been hindered by thermal problems. Before fabricating high-power diode-end-pumped solid-state laser, we should consider thermal issues first. | en_US |
