dc.description.abstract本论文主要研究目的为找出简单的方法估算温度对扭转丝状液晶显示器中动态响应速度之影响,分别针对目前广为使用的九十度扭转丝状液晶显示器与深具潜力的双稳态扭转丝状液晶显示器的动态响应与温度之关联深入探讨。九十度扭转丝状液晶显示器中,我们找出一个简单的方法估算温度对下降时间、上升时间与延迟时间之影响; 而在双稳态扭转丝状液晶显示器中,我们估算了温度对2p 状态的切换时间之影响并发现在0°状态转换中,穿透率会出现一凸起,此凸起在实验与模拟中均可发现,且温度会影响此凸起的最高穿透率。zh_TW
dc.description.abstractWe examined a method to evaluate the temperature effects on the dynamics of twisted nematic liquid crystal displays. We investigated on the relation between the temperature and the dynamics of 90° twisted nematic liquid crystal displays and bistable twisted nematic liquid crystal displays. In 90° twisted nematic liquid crystal displays, we examined a simple and good method to estimate the temperature effects on the decay time, rise time and delay time. Besides, in bistable twisted nematic liquid crystal displays, we also evaluated the temperature effects on the transition time of the 2p state in the similar way. In our experimental and computer simulation results, there was an optical jut in the homeotropic to 0°state transition. This jut would be influenced by temperature.en_US
