dc.description.abstract | 量測頭形是診斷及分析嬰兒頭部變形必要的手段,但現行的目測法不夠精細,儀器量測對嬰兒也有諸多的限制及不良影響。為了能獲取足夠的頭形資訊以及可量化的數據提供臨床評比之用,本研究提出一解決方式,以頭環間接拓取嬰兒的頭圍輪廓,再利用機器視覺方法針對頭環的影像進行頭形的量測與分析。在頭圍影像中,共計擷取了10組大小尺寸特徵及7組形狀特徵,並定義了3項新穎的頭形觀測指標:(1)不對稱指標(Asymmetry Index, AI),(2)歪斜指標(Plagiocephaly Index, PI)以及(3)相對變形指標(Relative Deformity Index, RDI),同時能將頭圍輪廓上4組具有觀測意義之平、凸特徵以向量作表示。相較傳統的方式,本研究除能自動擷取慣用的頭形計測值及頭形指標(Cephalic Index , CI)外,能快速取得更為豐富的頭形資訊,並能整合這些資訊從事嬰兒頭形特徵的變化分析。經實驗結果顯示,本論文所提出的新穎、安全、客觀、人道及量化的量測方法快速而穩定;透過近2000筆不同群組樣本實測結果的統計分析,所得出的論點,在醫學臨床上亦具有極高的評價及參考價值。 | zh_TW |
dc.description.abstract | Head deformation measurement is an important stage for diagnosis and management of infants with plagiocephaly. Because the head shape data of infants is difficult to be obtained under the consideration of safety and cost. So, in clinical, the doctors still estimate the change of a head shape by observation or simple measurement. It is difficult for different doctors to describe such unstable states in different clinical environment. This paper is to develop a measuring system that can extract and analyze important features from the head ring images. There are 10 size features and 7 shape features that can be extracted from the head ring images by the developed method. Three important indices were defined in this research: (1) Asymmetry Index (2) Plagiocephaly Index, and (3) Relative Deformity Index. On the other hand, a method that can be used to examine the position and seriousness of the intrusive /extrusive state of a head contour was also developed.
