dc.description.abstractWe put some defects in the PPV and would like to discover how the defects influence the transmission and the reflection of PPV. Two kinds of defects doped in the PPV are under discussion in this paper. The first is the twist of the double bands of PPV, and the other one is oxidation of PPV. It is found that the first defect will influence the conduction bands and the valence bands and the transmission of the two sorts of bands do not differ significantly. However, the other kind of defect (oxygen) influences the transmission of valence bands much more than the transmission of conduction. The method used is calculating the phase change of the wavefunction owing to the defects. The transmission of PPV could be used to calculate the mobility of PPV, which is influenced by defects.zh_TW
