PDA介面資訊傳達與工作效能的關係

Abstract

本研究探討不同PDA螢幕的介面設計，希望能夠找出讓使用者正確、快速處理資訊，進而增加工作效能的介面設計。 本研究採實驗法，共有60位未曾使用PDA的受測者參與實驗，實驗分為兩階段，第一階段為檢驗透過不同圖示表示不同事件對工作效能表現的影響，第二階段為檢驗透過層級式式選單對工作效能表現的影響，研究發現在PDA行事曆程式中，以不同圖示表示不同事件，可以節省螢幕使用空間，並可有效提高使用者之工作效能，減少使用時間。研究更進一步發現在PDA中提供層級式選單的選項設計，應以第二層以下的項目作為選項，方可讓使用者較使用一般點選方式，更快完成任務。

This paper describes technique for PDA user interface design. And try to find out the interface design for processing the right, fast information, and increasing the user performance. This research is by experiments. 60 subjects without experience of using PDA joined this experiment. This experiment included 2 parts. One is versifying the effect of using different icons to represent different things, and the other is versifying the effect of using Layer style menu. After the experiment, the result versified using different icons to represent different things in the PDA could save the screen and increase the user speed of performance. And we found that the Layer menu choice design should be after the second level of menu choice. Then users can implement tasks faster then the usual interface.
