dc.description.abstract本研究探讨不同PDA萤幕的介面设计,希望能够找出让使用者正确、快速处理资讯,进而增加工作效能的介面设计。
本研究采实验法,共有60位未曾使用PDA的受测者参与实验,实验分为两阶段,第一阶段为检验透过不同图示表示不同事件对工作效能表现的影响,第二阶段为检验透过层级式式选单对工作效能表现的影响,研究发现在PDA行事历程式中,以不同图示表示不同事件,可以节省萤幕使用空间,并可有效提高使用者之工作效能,减少使用时间。研究更进一步发现在PDA中提供层级式选单的选项设计,应以第二层以下的项目作为选项,方可让使用者较使用一般点选方式,更快完成任务。

dc.description.abstractThis paper describes technique for PDA user interface design. And try to find out the interface design for processing the right, fast information, and increasing the user performance.
This research is by experiments. 60 subjects without experience of using PDA joined this experiment. This experiment included 2 parts. One is versifying the effect of using different icons to represent different things, and the other is versifying the effect of using Layer style menu. After the experiment, the result versified using different icons to represent different things in the PDA could save the screen and increase the user speed of performance. And we found that the Layer menu choice design should be after the second level of menu choice. Then users can implement tasks faster then the usual interface.
