從DNA序列中搜尋調控訊號

Abstract

在這篇論文裡我們提出一個方法－從眾多條字串當中，找出同時存在於每一條字串中的相似片段。本研究的目的在於找出存在各字串間的相似片段，並且推導出答案原始的pattern為何。比對產生出同源蛋白質的基因之non-coding region，其中相似的片段，可能為該種蛋白質基因的調控訊號。希望藉由這些資訊，對於生物基因方面的相關研究，能夠有所助益。

There are some subtle local residue patterns common to multiple DNA sequences. Such patterns frequently reflect similar molecular structures and biological properties. We propose a method to find the common pattern between several sequences. It may help to find regulatory signals from DNA sequences.
