dc.description.abstract在電腦圖學的領域裡,各種自然景觀的模擬一直是極具挑戰性的問題。在本篇論文中,我們提出了一個模擬自然環境中苔蘚的有效方法。首先,我們利用受環境影響的L-System,依照環境因素以及物體的幾何模型,決定出苔蘚的分佈情形。再根據使用者所希望的材質細膩程度,將已定義好的三維苔蘚紋理貼於物體表面。如此一來,我們便能自動描繪出覆著於物體表面的苔蘚植物。zh_TW
dc.description.abstractIn Computer Graphics, the simulation of natural phenomena is still a challenging problem. In this thesis, we present a technique valid for simulating the appearance of moss in natural environment. First, we adopt the environmentally-sensitive L-system for generating the moss propagation on the surface of an object, according to the environmental factors and object geometry. Then in accordance with the level specified by users, we map the defined volume textures of moss to the surface. In this way, we can synthesis the visual images of objects covered with mosses automatically.en_US
