dc.description.abstract隨著個人通訊系統興起,相關應用與服務被提出,其中以無線應用協定(WAP)與短訊服務(SMS)蔚為流行。在本篇論文中我們提出整合家庭網路系統、無線應用協定與短訊服務的系統架構,支援家庭網路與Internet/GSM網路的連接,以提供遠端監控家庭網路狀況的功能。我們將家庭網路系統依據功能性分為三個子系統:家電(home appliance)、安全(security)與訊息(messaging)子系統。這個架構的主要目的是提供使用GSM手機或膝上型電腦遠端遙控家庭設備的功能。利用此一架構,相關資訊可透過家庭網路系統閘道器(HNS gateway)傳遞到Internet與GSM網路,最後到達使用者的電腦或手機上。在本篇論文中我們實作出家庭網路閘道器與子系統的部分功能,以證明所提出的架構是可行的。zh_TW
dc.description.abstractThis thesis proposes a Home Network System (HNS) architecture integrated with Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) and Short Message Service (SMS), targeted to support home Internet/GSM network connectivity. This HNS is divided into three subsystems: home appliance, security and messaging subsystems according to functionality. The main objective of the proposed architecture is the acquisition of monitoring and control information of a HNS remotely with a laptop computer or a GSM mobile terminal. Information is acquired either on request by manager device or on event reporting initiated by a managed device. Furthermore the acquired information is transmitted to the Internet/GSM network, through the HNS gateway unit. In this thesis, HNS system is implemented to show that the proposed architecture is feasible.en_US
