以 Java 語言和移動代理人為架構的企業應用平台

Abstract

以功能為導向的企業組織，使得部門擁有各自獨立的資訊系統，再加上企業內多種運用各類型資訊科技的應用系統，造成了異質性環境分散式資訊系統所面臨到的是系統效率不佳、異質環境下整合各式的應用程式困難、和資料交換及再利用不便的種種問題。 本論文提出一個以 Java 語言、移動代理人和 XML為架構的一個開放性企業應用平台(Mobile Enterprise Information Portal; MEIP)。主要透過Java 語言作為可攜式、可維護的應用程式語言；XML 做為可交換、可重用的資料標準；及行動代理人技術的可動態遷移、可自主性的能力，利用這些技術的緊密合作，組合起來而成為一個功能強大的應用程式設計平台，能夠在企業網路中提供整合性的 Web 應用服務。經由本研究所提出的應用平台架構，可實作在企業的應用資訊系統上。企業對於此種開發模式所能獲得的效益有下列幾點： 1. 具擴充性和系統效率高：藉由行動代理人在異質環境上漫遊的能力和自主性，系統不但具有擴充性而且可以增加舊系統的生命週期；並可用最有效率、安全的方式來交換不同主機的訊息和資源分享。 2. 整合容易：藉由 Java 語言、行動代理人系統的強大功能、和XML的標準格式，可讓系統功能容易元件化以簡化企業系統的升級與維護，並可透過移動代理人在異質環境中交換資訊讓企業快速提供安全性的整合服務。 3. 快速開發：應用Java語言與行動代理人的技術，可讓程式開發人員快速發展相關的網路應用程式。 4. 使用方便：藉由 Web 瀏覽器的操作，並透過XML來匯整異質資料，具有方便查詢、具正確性且可重覆使用、支援多個語言和資料交換方便的特性。 透過本研究所提供的方法，可讓企業在競爭激烈的環境中，將企業策略、企業流程、資訊系統以最少的時間、成本整合在一起，以發揮最大的工作效能、提供最好的服務品質。

With the increasing amount of information, the flexible integration of a range of disparate IT applications is a focus key requirement for today’s enterprises. The Mobile Agent , XML and Java Technology can be a significant aid to enterprise agility, particularly where distribution of information is a feature, as in virtual enterprises. In this paper , we propose the Mobile Enterprise Information Portal(MEIP) for the enterprise applications. The Mobile Agent , Java and XML technologis are used in designing the MEIP. In the proposed architecture, a mobile agent can move from one host to another. By the mobility and autonomy of mobile agents, we can improve the efficiency of enterprise applications and reduce traffic load caused by exchanging information. Besides, we use MEIP guidelines to implement a knowledge management system by IBM’s Aglet .
