dc.description.abstract資料藉著網路的傳送,使得資訊傳遞快速;然而光是資料,已經不能滿足人們的需求,多媒體網路,便成為現在網路研究者專注的研究項目。由於目前國際電話費率降幅有限,同時,結合語音、影像、資訊的溝通方式具有很大的潛力,使得投入網路傳輸的研究人員日益增加,網路電話大有可為。有許多研究機構,定義了不同的VoIP傳輸信令(Signal);其中,指令類別最少,初學者最容易瞭解與接受的為MGCP信令傳輸。 本論文所設計的MGCP系統模擬器軟體,即以MGCP傳輸信令為基礎,利用圖形化介面來顯示MGCP系統元件,並於介面視窗上顯示通話流程的模擬過程。本論文所設計的MGCP系統模擬器軟體是針對工研院(CCL)技轉的MGCP元件模擬程式,進行硬體部分的模擬;再藉由所設計的圖形化介面驅動MGCP的軟體開發程式,並使通話控制流程顯示於介面視窗上;藉由圖形介面的環境,方便初學者瞭解MGCP系統的架構和VoIP的概念。 本論文所設計的軟體可應用於教育培訓、新服務的開發、以及通話代理人程式的除錯;其中,又以新服務的開發與除錯為核心目標。本軟體提供了圖形化介面來展現通話控制流程,讓開發人員能致力於通話代理人程式的修改撰寫,並以模擬的方式測試通話的程序,可用於提升軟體發展之效率。開發者也可以發揮創造力與想像力,利用此模擬器軟體開發新世紀的通話服務。zh_TW
dc.description.abstractMultimedia network communication has become an important research topic. Communications that combine audio, video, and data information are full of potentiality in the future. Several standards for VoIP (Voice over IP) signaling protocol have been developed by IETF and ITU-T. One of them is MGCP (Media Gateway Control Protocol). This protocol has simple message commands. In this thesis we describe a VoIP system simulator based on MGCP. In our implementation, components of a MGCP system and the call control process can be display on a PC screen on a graphic user interface. The simulator uses the CCL’s MGCP stack and can emulate hardware devices. Using the GUI (Graphical User Interface), users can instantiate components of MGCP system easily. The MGCP simulator also shows the call processes, such that users can understand the architecture of the MGCP system and the concept of VoIP more easily. The MGCP simulator can also be used for education training, new call services developing, and especially call control debugging.en_US
