摘要: 正交分频多工传输技术是由多载波调变演变而来,它具备了对抗码际干扰能力,并能在低接收机复杂度下提供高速传输,目前已有数个系统采用此技术作为实体层传输技术。本文将介绍正交分频多工技术的特性,及目前应用正交分频多工作为实体层传输技术之系统,包括数位音响广播,数位影像广播之地面广播,以及为于5GHz频段的IEEE802.11a 无线区域网路。本论文中将介绍数种利用在已知次载波位置放置参考讯号,藉以估计通道响应的方法。此外,还提出利用嵌入式领航符元估计通道,藉以增加资料传输的可用次载波数目。经过电脑模拟结果显示,利用嵌入式领航符元估计通道在大部分的情况下都有较佳的表现。
Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM)comes from multi-carrier transmission technique. It alleviates the inter-symbol interference(ISI) and achieves high-data-rate transmission with low complexity. In this thesis, three existing OFDM-based systems are introduced, including the Digital Audio Broadcasting system (DAB), the Terrestrial Digital Video Broadcasting system (DVB-T), and the wireless LAN on the 5GHz band. Besides, several channel estimation methods based on pilot carrier insertion are introduced. Moreover, a new channel estimation method using embedded pilot signals is proposed. Our computer simulations show that in most cases the embedded-pilot-signal-based channel estimation outperforms the pilot-carrier-based channel estimation.
