以全球資訊網為基礎之位址管理

Abstract

有效率的位址管理是用來做為擷取無所不在網際網路服務的主要技術, 我們深信易於擴展以及可廣泛部署於應用層面的服務是兩個主要開發此類系統之準則。 由於 WWW 應用已經成熟, 可隨時加入新的服務, 且更普遍地成為傳送網際網路服務的工具, 因此我們提出一個以全球資訊網為基礎之位址管理架構。在我們所提出的架構中, 我們合併以Web 為基礎的方法以及Web Cache系統, 不只加強了服務之擷取時間, 也同時幫助認證的過程。我們結合VoIP的訊令(signaling)協定, 即SIP (Session Initial Protocol)協定, 來示範操作我們支持VoIP服務的架構。

Efficient and effective location management is the key technology to enable the ubiquitous access to Internet services. We believe that easy to extend the application-level services and able to be widely deployed are the two main criteria to develop such a system. Due to that the World Wide Web has become matured in adding new services and it is the most popular vehicle to convey the Internet services, we thus propose a Web-based location management framework. In our proposed framework, we incorporate the Web-based methods and Web cache systems to not only enhance the service access time but also help the authentication process. We demonstrate our framework by linking it with the VoIP signaling protocols, namely SIP, to support the VoIP services.
