摘要: | 本论文的内容主要是要设计一个适用于动态电压调整的直流电压转直流电压稳压器,动态电压调整是一种有效率的电源管理方式,由于其输出电压会不断改变,因此在设计上和传统的固定电压输出的稳压器有所不同。本论文所采用的控制方式以前授控制为主,由于前授控制为开回路控制,因此可调变的输出并不会影响整个控制系统的稳定度,在设计上会比较容易,此外,前授控制的响应速度会比回授控制来的快,而且对输入端的抗杂讯能力很高,也就是线上稳压度相当好。然而,其负载稳压度比较差,当输出的负载电流产生变化时,输出电压将会随之变化。因此我们加入了一个回授路径来增加整个系统的负载稳压度。再者,我们推导出在每一个情况下的功率电晶体的最佳尺寸,并配合功率电晶体阵列来动态地调整其尺寸,以提升整体的效能。除了应用在电源管理之外,输出可调变的稳压器还可以应用在射频发射器上。使用一个可以追踪封包大小而动态调整电源供应的稳压器将使射频发射器的效能更加提升。 This thesis proposes a novel DC-DC switching converter for dynamic voltage scaling (DVS) system that is a good architecture for extending battery life. Due to the adaptive output voltage, the design of the DC-DC converter is different from the conventional design with the fixed output voltage. In this thesis, the control method is based on the feed-forward control method. Because the feed-forward control loop is an open loop, the adaptive output voltage will not influence the stability of the system. It will make us design the chip more easily. Besides, the transient speed of the feed-forward control method is faster than that of the feedback control method. The line regulation of the feed-forward is better control method can immediately respond to it. In the other word, when a input terminal incurs which perturbation, the feed-forward control method can immediately respond it. However, the load regulation of the feed-forward control is bad, when the load current changes the output voltage may change, too. Thus, we add a feedback loop to improve the load regulation. Furthermore, we derive the optimal width of the power MOS and use the optimum power MOS array to increase the efficiency. Beside, the DC-DC converter can be used for the applications of the power management of RF portable devices. The method of power tracking the envelope of the RF spectrum will increase the efficiency of the transmitter. |
