dc.description.abstract在本論文中我們使用自寫的Fortran及Matlab程式以數值方法模擬非線性光脈衝在光纖光柵中的傳播行為,並且探討了光纖光柵光固子之現象及利用移相式光柵作為非線性光開關的可能性。我們也研究了光脈衝在移相式光纖光柵共振器中的傳播速度,發現其等效群速度要較真空中的光速小了許多,證明了共振效應可以有效延遲光的傳播速度。zh_TW
dc.description.abstractIn this thesis we numerically simulate nonlinear optical pulse propagation phenomena inside fiber Bragg gratings by using Fortran and Matlab programs. The fiber grating soliton phenomena are studied and the possibility of using phase-shifted grating resonators for optical switching is investigated. We also discover that the phase-shifted grating resonators can greatly reduce the effective group velocity of the light below the light speed in filters. This proves the intuitive concept that resonance can effectively reduce the speed of light.en_US
