dc.description.abstract本論文利用線性偏極化紫外光裂解配向材料,研究其光學、物理、化學性質,並且利用二次曝光法成功製造出預傾角。我們也發現二次曝光法可有效的控制傾角錨定能、扭轉錨定能。本研究且進一步去探討水平液晶盒在加電壓後會產生多區域的現像。就二次曝光特性而言,扭轉錨定能會隨第一次曝光能量增加而增加,達飽和點後下降;傾角錨定能隨第二次曝光能量增加而降低,直到最低點後再微量上升。我們也發現光裂解配向材料在注入不同液晶時在熱、時間穩定性方面有不同的行為存在。此外我們也在光穩定性方面作了初步探討。利用相位量測的方式測量預傾角以改善液晶盒多重干涉效應所造成的誤差,達到更精確的量測結果。zh_TW
dc.description.abstractIn this thesis, we studied the optical, physical and chemical properties of a LC alignment material decomposed by linear polarized UV light. The pretilt angle was successfully produced by the application of the double exposure method. We found that the double exposure method can effectively control polar anchoring energy and azimuthal anchoring energy. The phenomenon of the voltage induced multi-domain in homogeneous LC cells was further investigated in this study. As for the effects of the double exposure method, the twist anchoring energy increases with the first exposure energy increasing, then reaches a saturation point and decreases finally. However, the polar anchoring energy decreases with the exposure energy increasing, then reaches the minimum point and slightly increases finally. We also found that the optical decomposition alignment material has different behaviors in thermal and time stabilities when different liquid crystal materials filled in the LC cells. In addition, the optical stability was preliminarily discussed. For more precise result, the phase method was applied to decide the pretilt angle and improve the experiment error induced by the multi-scattering effect of LC cells.en_US
