摘要: 正交分频多工系统,如IEEE 802.11a,广泛应用于无线区域网路。而正交分频多工系统中的时间同步是相当重要的议题,严重的时间误差将造成后续解码失败。所以对封包传输式的正交分频多工系统很需要一个快速且精准的时间同步器,同步器还要能处理一些干扰因素,如杂讯、多重路径效应和频偏效应,同时能达到理想的效能。
论文中将提出一个应用于正交分频多工无线区域网路之连续式时间同步法,其中包含封包侦测,频偏估测及传送符元时间同步,最后会提出完整的连续式时间同步架构。除了连续式时间同步法之外,同时还会比较目前一些基本的时间同步器。模拟结果显示,连续式时间同步法误差较小且能快速收敛,尤其更能适应于严重的衰减通道下的环境。
The OFDM system such as IEEE 802.11a is utilized widely in the Wireless LAN. The timing synchronization is an important topic for the OFDM system since the serious timing error will destroy the proceeding demodulation. A rapid and accurate timing synchronizer is needed for the packet-based OFDM system. Also it needs to deal properly with some interference factor such as noise, multipath effect, and frequency offset etc; concurrently, achieve a desirable performance.
In this thesis, a successive timing synchronization fit for OFDM-based Wireless LAN is proposed. The proposed timing synchronization includes packet detection, frequency offset estimation, and symbol timing synchronization and an accomplished architecture of the successive timing synchronization is proposed as well. Besides, some fundamental timing synchronizers are discussed. The proposed successive timing synchronization is comparatively more powerful than some fundamental timing synchronizations as a consequence of the speedy convergence and low timing error. Especially, it is robust enough in the serious fading channel as confirmed by the simulation results.
