dc.description.abstract最近幾年以來,無線通信的服務成長快速並且已經越來越普遍了。Mobile IP是支援行動主機移動性的現行標準通信協定,但是它依然有很多的問題並且在提供即時服務時有很多的限制,所以有很多的研究被提出用來解決這些問題。其中大部份被提出的方法都是用來改善Home Agent和Foreign Agent 之間的效率,在這篇論文中,我們提出一個暫存區的管理方法來改善Mobility Agent 和 Mobile Node之間的效率。我們提出的方案是用以處理Mobility Agent 和 Mobile Node之間封包的傳送,它是使用在第二層通信協定中。我們會將模擬的結果展示出來以證明我們的方案在使用TCP時有比較好的流通率,並且在使用UDP時降低封包遺失率,我們的方法可以被用來提供優良品質的服務。zh_TW
dc.description.abstractWireless communications services grow quickly and become popular in the recent years. Mobile IP is the current standard for supporting mobility of mobile hosts. But it still has many problems and restrictions to provide real-time services. Quite a few studies have been performed to solve the issues. Most of them are used to improve the performance between the Home Agent (HA) and Foreign Agent (FA). In this thesis, we propose a buffer management approach to improve the performance between the Mobility Agent (MA) (HA or FA) and the Mobile Node (MN). The proposed scheme is used to deal with the packet's delivery between MA and MN in Layer 2. We will show the results of simulation to prove that our scheme features higher TCP throughput, it also reduces the packet loss rate in UDP. Moreover, it could be deployed for Quality of Service (QoS) support.en_US
