In the past 5 years, plenty of new water-soluble conjugated polymers (WSCPs) have been designed and synthesized by many groups all over the world, and advances in biological applications of these WSCPs have been made. We successfully prepared two water-soluble copolymers of polythiophene_MPEG1 and polythiophene_MPEG2 via click reaction of different ratio from polythiophene azide with propargyl_MPEG (Mn =1000g/L). We characterized between two water soluble copolymers by 1H NMR, GPC, TGA, and DSC. DSC data shows that the polythiophene_MPEG1 is more crystalline than polythiophene_MPEG2, due to polythiophene_MPEG1 contains on a large amount of MPEG segments. We noticed that unique interesting phenomena for polythiophene_MPEHG1 and polythiophene_MPEG2 in aqueous solution via photoluminescence spectra.zh_TW
