摘要: 本論文提出一個具有快速暫態響應的遲滯電流升壓式電源轉換器。藉由一個依據負載電流變化並調整補償電容值及電阻值之動態補償方法,在負載電流變化初期使補償極零點位置移至較高頻之區域,將系統的頻寬加寬以增加暫態響應能力,使輸出電壓快速穩定及縮短回復時間。當負載電流變化結束時則補償極零點將回歸於初始設計之適當位置使系統保持最佳的頻寬及相位邊限以維持穩態操作。本電路採用TSMC 0.25µm CMOS製程實現,其輸入電壓範圍從3.5V到4.5V,輸出電壓為12V,最大負載電流為270mA,負載穩壓為0.11 mV/mA,輸出電壓回復時間則小於20µs。
This paper presents a hysteretic current mode DC-DC boost converter with fast transient response performance. A dynamic compensation technique is introduced for hysteretic DC/DC converters to improve transient response in case of output loading variation. Therefore, the compensation control circuit with the proposed dynamic compensation technique contains adaptive compensation capacitance and resistance, which can be changed according to output loading current. As a result, the compensation pole-zero pair will be moved toward to higher frequencies to increase system bandwidth in the beginning of output current change, and then be moved back to adequate position at end of load change for getting optimum bandwidth and phase margin and increasing system stability. This converter was designed in TSMC 0.25μm CMOS process. The input voltage ranges from 3.5V to 4.5V with an output voltage of 12V and a 270mA maximum load current. Load regulation is 0.11mV/mA and recovery time is smaller than 20µs in case of load current change between 70mA and 270mA.
