zh_TW
Traditionally, in engineering cost estimation, the size, area and quantity of each item in the design drawing have to be manually interpreted by personnel, so the estimation has been dependent on the experience, ability and attentiveness of the personnel; as a result, omissions and errors are common. To enhance the quality and efficiency of engineering quantity estimation, this study, taking the non-structural engineering of an actual case as an example, used Pei-Yuan Hsu BIM estimation model for main structural engineering as the basis and Autodesk Revit Architecture (Revit), Autodesk Quantity Takeoff (QTO) and Public Construction Cost Estimate System (PCCES) aids to test the feasibility of applying the BIM estimation model on non-structural engineering, in order to establish a model for creating a construction quantity budget statement for non-structural engineering. With the characteristics of BIM and QTO, the software can automatically calculate the quantity of, and create construction budget general/detail tables directly through the BIM model, together with such functions of PCCES, thus realizing the complete integration of design and estimation. The research results show that the BIM estimation model adopted in this study can greatly reduce estimation time and assist in achieving more accurate results. In addition, it can also automatically create forms that meet the common format requirements of domestic engineering, materially facilitating the current estimation process of the construction industry.en_US
