dc.description.abstract本研究針對表面奈米銀結構對膽固醇液晶之光電特性的影響作探討。實驗中使用氣溶膠噴塗印刷系統作為製作奈米銀結構的主要方法。製作散狀以及點狀陣列兩種奈米結構作探討,在沒有反射率喪失的情況下,兩種奈米結構都可以對膽固醇液晶之臨界電壓以及轉態時間作改善。在使用散狀奈米銀結構時,可以降低13 %的臨界電壓以及使轉態時間加快2.4倍;在使用點狀陣列奈米銀結構時,可以降低13 %的臨界電壓以及使轉態時間加快4.2倍,在兩倍臨界電壓的驅動下,轉態時間可加快9.5倍,達到80 ms。 實驗結果驗證缺陷點以及膽固醇液晶光電特性之關係。統整兩種奈米結構的結果果顯示當奈米結構高度在200 nm-700 nm,高度將會是主要影響膽固醇液晶光電特性之參數,密度以及不同的分佈方式對於光電特性的影響較小。zh_TW
dc.description.abstractThis thesis discuss the effect of surface nano-silver structure in cholesteric liquid crystal devices. The nano structure is fabricated by Aerosol Jet Printing. Two kinds of nano structure are prepared. One is spray pattern the other is dot array pattern. With nano structure the E-O properties of cholesteric liquid crystal can be enhanced and reflectance can still reach the limit. In the case of spray pattern, the threshold voltage can be reduced 13% and the transition time is 2.4 times faster. In the case of dot array pattern, the threshold voltage can be reduced 13% and the transition time is 2.4 times faster. Driving with double threshold voltage, the transition time is 80 ms, 9.5 times faster than the standard cell. The result of this study confirm the relationship between defect and cholesteric liquid crysral. Furthermore, when the height of nano structure is 200 nm-700 nm, the height of nano structure is the dominate parameter instead of the density and distribution of nano structure.en_US
