zh_TW
Taiwan’s government has signed a reciprocal working holiday agreement with Australia, New Zealand, and other countries since 2004. Working holiday program was a temporary mechanism which allows young people aged from 18~30 to travel and work abroad for 1 year, during the past five years (2008.7.1~2013.6.30), there was a significant increasing trend of applying Australian working holiday visa (WHV). This study uses the secondary data analysis, Pearson correlation coefficient, and in-depth interview, in order to explore WHV makers’ motivator and incentive and make a correlation coefficient test against unemployment rate, basic salary, and average salary. The major empirical findings are as follows: The level of openness and range of salary differences have significantly positive effects on the number of WHV applications, and English-speaking country is regarded as an incentive factor to WHV makers.en_US
