dc.description.abstractTransformable models are the 3D models whose shapes can be changed by only rotating or translating their component parts. They have been discussed as a math problem for a long time , but few discussed in graphics. In this paper, we demonstrate a system which generates a transformable model with simple inputs. In this problem, the core is segmentation. Different from traditional 3D segmentation which cuts models by considering geometry, we focus on whether the segmented result can transform into a model in compliance with the inputs. The experiment results show that the transformed models generated by our system can reach the need of users.zh_TW
