dc.description.abstract由於高速率數據服務的需求不斷增加,小細胞(small cell)網路被提出以改進數據速率和頻譜效率。然而,當系統流量負荷低時,小細胞網路會浪費太多的能量消耗。為了解決這個難題,我們想要設計一個機制,使小細胞基地台可以進入關閉狀態。 在本篇論文中,我們提出訊務導向節能(traffic-aware power saving, TAPS)機制,意圖降低小細胞基地台的能量消耗。TAPS機制可以根據小細胞基地台自己的流量負載來切換操作模式,以達到節能目的。模擬解果顯示我們提出的TAPS機制能有明顯的節能,並且跟小細胞基地台全開的情況相比,只會在性能上造成輕微的衰減。zh_TW
dc.description.abstractSince the increasing demand for high data rate service, small cell network is proposed to improve data rate and spectral efficiency. However, the small cells wastes too much power when system traffic load is low. To overcome this challenge, we want to design a protocol to enable off state in small cell BS. In this thesis, we propose the traffic-aware power saving (TAPS) scheme to reduce power consumption of small cell BSs. The TAPS scheme can switch the operation mode of SBSs according to their traffic load to achieve power saving. Simulation results show that the proposed TAPS scheme has obvious power saving yet causing slightly decay on the performance compared with small cell BSs all open case.en_US
