dc.description.abstract | 隨著移動性網路的持續發展,手持式裝置(UE)的功能逐漸多樣化,同時效能需求上亦日趨迫切,在此發展的趨勢下首先遇到的即是在高效裝置下的耗電問題,如何在用戶端設備上達到省電功效成為一項急需研究的課題,而在長期演進技術(LTE)中,規範使用非連續接收機制(DRX)來避免多餘的電量消耗在傳輸/接收上,透過此機制可有效的減少不必要的電力消耗,但在此同時會產生額外的封包延遲(packet delay),此一現象亦顯示出省電效應和封包延遲上存在一個權衡取捨;然而降低電力消耗和維持服務品質是一體兩面的,在本論文中,我們探討非連續接收機制在分析模擬實際資料封包流量(traffic)情況下,藉此得到省電效能的估測以及相對的封包延遲估計,更進一步的建立在不額外增加封包延遲為前提下,盡可能提高省電的效益,尋求能夠減少更多電力消耗的方式,而加入新的省電想法,即是在物理層(Physical layer)快速開關手持式裝置中天線部分元件,以減少天線元件部分所造成的不必要耗能,最後模擬出整合後的系統成效,模擬的結果顯示我們對流量分析的推導接近實際所造成的耗電情況,而加入新的省電機制後耗電量會隨著非連續接收機制的參數變動而有相對的省電效益存在。 | zh_TW |
dc.description.abstract | Along with the development of mobility network, more and more diverse functions of user equipments have been created. At the same time, the performance and power consumption of user equipments has been a critical issue in recent. In LTE network, a Discontinuous Reception (DRX) mechanism is provided to support power saving functionality. However, lower power consumption and maintain the service of quality are the two sides to one coin. It is clear that there is a trade-off between energy saving and mean packet call delay. In this work, we proposed an analytical model by using DRX mechanism in a busty traffic called ETSI traffic model. Furthermore, under the precondition that make no additional packet call delay, for seeking lower energy wastage in downlink data reception. We combined DRX mechanism with a power saving idea in physical layer which can save more power by closing the part of radio frequency (RF) earlier in mobile phones. The final results shows that our derivations are close to real simulations and under some parameters adjustment that DRX imbedded new power saving mechanism (FCCD) can save more additional energy. | en_US |
