摘要: 在3GPP長期演進技術(Long Tern Evolution-Advance, LTE-A)系統下,資料流的快速成長預期會對網路環境造成巨大的負載,為了解決這一問題,毫微微蜂巢式基地台(Femtocell)因而產生,隨著資料流與毫微微蜂巢式基地台數量的不斷成長,針對基地台的省電不再是可以忽略的問題,過量的基地台功率造成過量的電力成本同時造成過量的二氧化碳排放,為了降低基地台的功率,不連續接收(Discontinuous Transmission, DTX)機制因此被提出,在這篇論文中,我們提出了一個針對毫微微蜂巢式基地台的省電排程演算法(Traffic Prediction-based Green Scheduling, TPGS),其內容除了包含DTX的架構,同時也加入了流量預測以達成更低的基地台功率。我們提出的演算法包含了以下的幾個部分,候選排程集(Scheduling Candidate Set, SCS)選擇、延遲限制檢查與封包總量檢查,未來下行流量預測與資源區塊(Resource Block, RB)分配。以小量的封包延遲作為代價,我們提出的省電演算法(TPGS)可以大幅地降低基地台的功率。
The great amount increase of high rate traffic in LTE-A system is expected to bring heavy load in network capacity. Femtocell architecture is proposed to solve this problem. However, with the traffic load growth higher and higher, Power consumption of BS becomes a new issue not only in network field but also in environment. Discontinuous transmission (DTX) mechanism is provided to reduce the power consumption of BS. In this thesis, we proposed a novel power saving algorithm. Our proposed algorithm combines the concept of DTX and the future traffic prediction. The proposed algorithm involves several parts which are scheduling candidate set (SCS) selection, delay bound and total packet checking, future packet prediction and resource allocation. With a little trade-off, we successfully reduce the power consumption of BS in LTE-A system.
