dc.description.abstract | 利用虛擬機器的技術來達成伺服器整合是未來的趨勢。在伺服器整合的環境中,我們可以利用記憶體分頁共享來降低L2快取失誤率及節省記憶體用量。但是因為程式映像檔之間的差異,使得記憶體分頁共享不易達成。本論文提出一套方法來重新調整映像檔內物件,縮小映像檔間差異,讓共享容易達成。 我們的實驗評估映像檔之間共享的部分。實驗顯示映像檔平均有200 Kbytes的物件可以共享,這些物件平均佔整個映像檔17%。 | zh_TW |
dc.description.abstract | The server consolidation by using virtual machine technology is the trend. In the server consolidation environment, we may reduce the L2 cache miss rate and memory usage by sharing program pages. To share program pages between program images is not easy because difference of program images. We provide a method to reorder objects of the program image and try to reduce difference between program images. Our evaluations show that there is about 200 kbytes sharable objects between program images. | en_US |
