妳漂亮嗎？從性玩物到女性賦權：以青少年流行雜誌中的姿態展示談起

Abstract

這篇論文探討菲律賓女性名模藉由自主決定在少年流行雜誌上展露肢體，所展現的權力主體論述意義；以及她們以此抵抗內化的女性美醜二元分化所造成的影響，並成為一種女性自我賦權的潛能。我認為少年流行雜誌同時也創造了一個女性得以挑戰既存規則的空間，使她們能夠藉由獲得成名地位的方式，獲得抗爭的勝利。

This thesis discusses the significance of subjective accounts of power in which female 'celebrity' models in the Philippines exercise decision-making power to pose 'sexy' in lad magazines and the impact of women's internalization of the maganda/pangit dichotomy as a kind of resistance, which in turn becomes the ptential for empowerment
