dc.description.abstract本研究目的為利用鋼球在預設高度下,以自由落體狀態撞擊LCD模組,作為評估LCD模組是否因結構改變而提昇玻璃面板強度。文中探討影響玻璃面板強度的主因有玻璃缺陷及LCD模組結構,為排除玻璃缺陷的不穩定因子,吾人選用玻璃原材且利用4點式彎曲測試與ROR(Ring on Ring)測試方法,並搭配韋伯分佈函數(Weibull Distribution Function)的應用作為判別玻璃試片穩定性之方式,最後藉由LCD模組結構因子的改變,分別為偏光板、光學高透膜(Optic clear adhesive)、面板固定膠與鐵框的搭配使用,進行鋼球撞擊實驗以取得各結構間的耐撞擊高度,同時應用ANSYS/LS-DYNA模擬不同結構與撞擊高度所產生的應力,並比較高度與應力之間的關係。 從實驗及模擬結果得知當鋼球撞擊玻璃面板時,玻璃所產生的應力是最直接的,使用光學高透膜能在鋼球撞擊玻璃面板時,將撞擊力量有效分散以減少玻璃面板的直接撞擊力,使應力產生能大幅降低以達到玻璃面板的保護作用。zh_TW
dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this research is to evaluate the glass panel strength on a LCD module by steel ball drop test. The factors which affect the strength of the glass panel including glass defects(cracks caused from scribe/break or handling process)and support-structure design(polarizer、optic clear adhesive、glass fixed adhesive、bezel ..etc.)were then discussed. An ANSYS/LS-DYNA simulation model was also established, the result were compared the experiments. The result of this study showed that optic clear adhesive on the glass is the most effective factor against panel broken problems.en_US
