摘要: 奈米微粒雖然質量濃度很小,但它們卻擁有很高的數目濃度,因此往往能穿透肺部的縫隙而造成身體健康的危害。最近的一些研究發現,奈米微粒的化學成分可能是危害呼吸系統的重要機制。大氣中的奈米微粒主要的來源包括交通工具、發電廠、工廠及地表植物的直接排放或是其排出氣體經氣固程序及光化學氧化程序而產生。本研究將建立能較準確量測來至不同污染來源的奈米微粒濃度、粒徑分佈及化學成份的方法。本研究的數據將與文獻的做比較,來驗證所建立的方法的正確性。
Even at small mass concentrations of nanoparticles (< 100 nm), serious negative health effects may produce because of their high number concentrations and ability to penetrate into the interstitial space of the lungs (Oberdörster et al., 1995; 2005). Several current hypotheses about the possible mechanism for damage to the respiratory system due to nanoparticles give clues as to the particle chemical properties that might be important. Nanoparticles in the atmospheric are emitted directly or produced via the gas to particle processes and also photochemical reactions of the exhausts of motor-vehicles, power stations, factories and terrestrial vegetations. This study intends to develop better methods to accurately measure the particle concentration and size distribution as well as the chemical compositions of nanoparticles from different sources. The data of the present study will be compared with those in the literature to examine the accuracy of the present methods.
