dc.description.abstract | 含液晶滴聚合物(Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal;PDLC)是一種高效率的光開關材料。它可藉由外加電場或磁場調制其內部微小液晶球滴對入射光之散射特性而達米開關作用。液晶球滴散射特性,取決於其內部分子排列情形然而,在外場下,液晶球滴內部分子指向場變化是相當複雜而不易解析的。本計畫中,我們擬採用以張量形式液晶形變自由能為基礎發展之演算法來模擬求解指向場分佈。除計算不同指向場起始值及不同外加電場方式下,液晶球滴內分子指向場分佈外,將以比較總自由能的方法,來探討外在變因下,所計算穩定解之存在可能性。此外,我們也將以瓊斯矩陣方法(Jones calculus)對所求之指向場分佈,計算其偏光顯微鏡下的光學圖像,與已有之實驗觀察光學圖像相互映證。 | zh_TW |
