摘要: | 补助人文及社会科学研究图书计划:文化、创意与传播 对于文化、创意与传播产业的需要正在世界各地快速的成长中。根据2009 年 PricewaterhouseCoopers 出版社所出版的“全球娱樂和媒体观点”一书中指出,全球娱樂 和媒体市场规模在2008 年达到1.7 万亿美金,并且预估在2012 年能高达2.2 万亿美金。 在文化、创意、传播产业方面,亚洲地区被定位为其中一个高速成长的市场,而台湾在 这方面的发展也受到特别的重视。《文化创意产业发展法》甫于2009 年底通过,刻正 由文建会负责订定十三项子法细节与推动相关配套措施,以达到台湾“以文化立国、文 化兴国”的愿景。在国科会“文化、创意与传播”的执行架构下,并以澳洲与英国等创 意产业发展先进国的研究与教学机构作为标竿学习对象,本图书典藏发展计划的主要典 藏内容之方向有三:(1) 文化、创意、传播的基础核心理論;(2) 文化、创意、传播的 相关实务现象;以及(3) 文化、创意、传播的跨領域应用。第一个部份聚焦在古典及当 代的文化、创意、传播理論,第二个部份强调这些产业的实务现象及发展,第三个部份 则试着搜集关于文化、创意、传播的跨学科应用书籍,以充实台湾学术机构在相关領域 中的藏书,有助于创意产业与文化的发展以及教学研究。 National Science Council-Funded Library Collection Development Project: Culture, Creativity and Communication The demand for culture, creativity and communication industries are now growing rapidly worldwide. According to PricewaterhouseCoopers’s Global Entertainment and Media Outlook published in 2009, the market scale of global entertainment and media (E&M) reached US $1.7 trillion in 2008 and estimated to reach US $2.2 trillion in 2012. The Asian region is positioned as one of the highest growing markets of culture, creativity and communication industries, especially in Taiwan. The disciplines of culture, creativity and communication have developed in Taiwan in response to the need of market development. The Promotion of Cultural Creativity Act has just passed to assist this development. This project aims to collect books in the field of culture, creativity and communication and to obtain funding from the National Science Council’s Library Collection Development Project. The goal of this project is to ensure that materials targeted for purchase are representative in the following three areas: (1) Theoretical foundations of culture, creativity and communication; (2) Current practice of culture, creativity and communication; and (3) Interdisciplinary applications of culture, creativity and communication. The first area focuses on the classical and contemporary theories of culture, creativity and communication. The second area emphasizes the practice and development of these industries. The third area attempts to acquire collections related to the interdisciplinary applications of culture, creativity and communication. |
