Abstract: 本計畫為期三年共分六個主題: (一)、合成具有發色團以及螢光基團的本質手性芳杯化合
物5–8,並將它們進行光學分割。(二)、合成下緣具有四個不同取代基的本質性手性芳杯
化合物 (Pairs I-III)。(三)、合成下緣具有1,1’-雙奈醇冠醚取代的本質性手性芳杯化合物
20–29。(四)、合成與設計本質性手性雙芳杯化合物 38–41。(五)、合成具有雙辨識中心
的芳杯化合物 44–50,用於變構性研究。(六)、下緣具有蒽基異呃唑(anthrylisoxazoles)
芳杯51–56的金屬離子辨識與機制探討。探討手性辨識所採用的偵測方法將包括傳統的
紫外可見光光譜儀、圓形二向色性譜、穩態及時間解析螢光光譜量測、循環伏安法、氫
與碳十三核磁共振光譜、紅外光譜以及X-光單晶晶體解析。
This is a three-year-project which contains six themes: (1) Synthesis of chromogenic and
fluorogenic calix[4]arenes (±)-5–8 with inherently chirality. (2) Synthesis of inherently chiral
calix[4]arenes with lower-rim four different substituents, Pairs I–III. (3) Synthesis of
inherently chiral calix[4]arenes with lower-rim 1,1’-binaphthocrown-6 moiety, 20-29. (4)
Design and synthesis of inherently chiral biscalix[4]arenes 38-41. (5) Calixarenes (Molecules
44-50) with allosteric effects, and (6) Calix[4]arenes with lower-rim anthrylisoxazoles 51-56
as metal ion sensors. Methodologies used in the host-guest chemistry include: UV/vis, CD,
steady-state and time-resolved fluorescence spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry, 1H- and 13C
NMR spectroscopy, FT-IR, and X-ray single crystal analysis.
