摘要: 現今網路上所充斥的巨量資訊,已使得人們難以有效地從中找尋出真正符合自我需求與有用的資訊來解決所面臨的問題。同樣的問題亦存在於現今學生的學習環境中,因為研究顯示,搜尋與處理資訊是一個複雜的認知處理歷程,需要學生去識別資訊需求,搜尋資訊來源,針對來源來進行萃取與組織有關的資訊,並進行不同資訊的彙整與處理,以便解決問題。這類過程(活動)稱為[資訊問題解決(information problem solving, IPS)]。所以,如何培養學生具備良好的資訊素養,以使學生能具備蒐集、分析、整合網路資訊,並用來解決問題的能力,將是目前非常重要的研究議題。因此,本計畫針對如何有效地輔助學生進行資訊問題解決的學習,以促進其IPS能力的提升與成效,而規劃了[從網路資料搜尋到解決問題之學習輔助系統],以讓教師於IPS教學時能有效地進行學習規劃,提供學生在IPS學習過程中所需的學習輔助,提升其學習效益。並進而了解學生之學習策略與問題,來提供適切的指導與回饋。 本計畫之主要研究項目如下: (1) 研發資訊解題教學支援系統平台,包含1) IPS學習任務規劃模組、2) IPS學習歷程管理模組、及3) IPS學習歷程與成果輔助分析和診斷模組。以讓教師於IPS教學時能有效地進行IPS任務的規劃、學生之搜尋資源與歷程的管理、與IPS歷程的分析診斷,來了解學生之IPS學習策略與問題,提供適切的指導與回饋,進而修正其教學策略與模式。 (2) 研發資訊解題學習輔助系統平台,包含1) IPS學習任務管控模組、2) 搜尋資料組織與呈現模組、3) 搜尋資訊註記與管理模組、4) IPS成果建構與表徵模組、與5) 搜尋內容與註記資源推薦模組。以提供學生在IPS學習過程中所需的問題瞭解、過程導引、搜尋推薦、註記分享、歷程管理、群組合作、與成果表徵等等學習輔助,以使學生能提升其學習效益,並藉此了解學生在IPS過程中的學習問題、與其認知和後設認知之應用策略與狀況。 (3) 探討系統平台各功能服務與模式對於教師與學生在資訊問題解決學習上之成效與滿意度的分析。
Although, there exists a huge number of information in Internet, it's still difficult to efficiently find out the correct and desired information for solving problems. According to the recent research articles, searching and processing information is a complex cognitive process which requires students to identify information needs, locate corresponding information sources, extract and organize relevant information, and synthesize information for solving problems. This process is called Information-Problem Solving (IPS). Therefore, how to train students to have good information literacy and solve the problems by means of searching, analyzing, and organizing information has become an important research issue. Accordingly, in order to efficiently foster and improve students' IPS skills, this project aims to design and propose a Learning Assistance System for Supporting Information-Problem Solving to provide students with the necessary learning assistances of IPS task, and support teachers to investigate students' problems, cognitive and meta-cognitive strategies during IPS learning. In this project, the major research tasks are as follows: (1) Design and develop the IPS-Instructional Support System (IPS-ISS), including 1) IPS Learning Task Design Module, 2) IPS Learning Portfolio Management Module, and 3) Learning Portfolio Assisted Analysis and Diagnosis Module, to support teachers in efficiently designing the IPS learning task, managing the searched information and learning portfolio of students, and offering the learning diagnosis feedbacks to students and further refining the teaching strategies by means of the learning portfolio analysis. (2) Design and implement the IPS-Learning Assistance System (IPS-LAS), including 1) Learning Task Monitoring module, 2) Searched Information Configuration and Presentation module, 3) Content Annotation and Management module, 4) IPS Product Organization and Presentation module, and 5) Search Recommendation Module, to provide students with the learning assistances, including problem understanding, learning guidance, content recommendation, annotation and share, portfolio management, collaboration, and IPS productpresentation, in order to improve their learning performance, whereby the learning problems, and the strategies of cognition and meta-cognition of IPS can be understood and investigated. (3) Analyze and discuss the efficacy and satisfaction of proposed system services for teachers and students, respectively.
