摘要: 奈米尖端增強型微放電裝置(NTD)對於液晶顯示器背光的薄型化、效率、驅動電壓、大尺寸、製造和成本有優勢。脈衝直流與交流電源供應器在奈米尖端增強型微放電裝置的操作下產生電漿,伴隨著記憶效應(memory effect)的發生,可以降低ignite voltage和 sustain voltage。計畫主持人期望奈米尖端增強型微放電裝置可以有長達60,000小時以上的生命期、100 kW/cm2 以上的輸出功率,以及低驅動電壓。尤其,奈米尖端增強型微放電裝置能夠將液晶顯示器背光的驅動電壓從傳統的1000V降至300V。除此之外,奈米尖端增強型微電漿的發光效率能夠達到60 lm/W到100lm/W的目標。在液晶顯示器技術上,奈米尖端增強型微放電裝置可以提供比發光二極體背光更低成本的製造過程。 表
Nano-tip enhanced nano-discharge devices (NTD) for the LCD backlight has advantages in thin, efficiency, driving voltage, large size, manufacturing, and cost. The nano-tip enhanced nano-discharge devices (NTD) will be operated by the memory effect with the pulsed DC and AC generator to reduce ignite and sustain voltage to make plasma in the cells. We expect that the nano-tip enhanced nano-dischage devices achieve a long lifetime more than 600,000 hours, a good output powers more than 100 kW/cm2, and a low driving voltage of nano-discharge. Especially, the nano-tip enhanced nano plasma device can reduce the driving voltage from 1 kV (conventional plasma lamp) to 300 V for the LCD backlight. In addition, the luminous efficiency of the nano-tip enhanced nano plasma potentially can be achieved up from 60 lm/W to 100 lm/W. The nano-tip enhanced nano-dischaege device provides low cost manufacturing processes compared with the LED backlight for LCD technology.
