達悟歌謠與庶民文化數位典藏計畫

Abstract

本計畫主要是以蘭嶼島上之庶民文化的數位化保存與再現為重點，其目的在於透過 數位典藏的方式，提高達悟（雅美）族人民所採集、創作的記錄與作品之應用與傳播價 值，以便對蘭嶼的文化保存產生積極正面的意義，亦能對蘭嶼研究提供更深層的研究素 材。本計畫之典藏範圍將以達悟（雅美）歌謠為主，其他庶民文化創作品為輔，對當地 文史工作者、教會組織與資料擁有者所提供的史料資源進行保存與再現之工作，除有效 地保存這些史料外，亦希望藉此對蘭嶼原住民部落對自我認同之建構有所幫助，並促進 族群文化之交流，讓外界更進一步瞭解蘭嶼原住民的生活、文化與歷史。本計畫典藏範 圍主要涵蓋達悟歌謠、教堂彩繪壁畫、歷史照片、廣播節目以及VHS, Hi8等內容。而所 要進行的數位化工作包括拍攝、掃描、轉檔、錄音與全文建檔等項目。就理論意涵與質 化角度觀之，本計畫之貢獻乃在透過數位典藏資料庫的建置與保存，以「弱勢族群」發 聲為關懷，來建構保存蘭嶼庶民文化之保存價值與傳播意義。而就量化成果觀之，本計 畫預計完成1,100筆metadata，總量包括100曲歌謠內容、100曲歌謠吟唱、80張壁畫照 片、30萬文字（季刊與書籍）、1,800分鐘聲音文字、1,800分鐘動態影像內容以及近1,200 張歷史照片。

his digital project focuses on the preservation and representation of the culture of people living in Orchid Island (Lan Yu). The scope of digitization includes folk songs, fresco inside the church at imaorod tribe, historical photos, radio programs and VHS created by local residents and aboriginal organizations. By digitization, this project tends to preserve and disseminate the everyday life of ordinary people residing in Orchid Island. An interactive website and a 3D design are planned to represent the folk songs and church fresco. On the other hand, this project intends to encourage local aboriginals to participate in the construction of digital archives. A training program and a user-friendly website design will be instituted in an efficient way in order to be easily adopted by local residents. The database serves the function to present local voices and alternative perspectives to the outside world. A total of 100 folk songs, 80 fresco photos, 286 pages of magazine and book pages, nearly 1,800 minutes of visual materials, 1,800 minutes of aural materials, and 1,200 photos are planned to convert to digital forms and become part of the aboriginal digital archive.
