dc.description.abstract | The present invention provides PHPIT and fabrication thereof. PHPIT has a side-chain-tethered with hexylphenanthrenyl-imidazole polythiophene. The visible light absorption of the PHPIT/PCBM blend is enhanced by the presence of the electron-withdrawing hexylphenanthrenyl-imidazole.
