以網路附加儲存(NAS)作為數位家庭的運作核心

Abstract

廣義上的數位家庭，是希望透過網路讓生活中的所有設備互相交換資訊與溝通，並藉由軟硬體技術的整合，融入於居家生活，以追求更加便利、自動化的服務。然而數位家庭發展至今二十餘年，休閒娛樂仍然是數位家庭最主要的功能，並未將新興科技導入至其架構，提高整體生活的品質。基於此觀點，本研究分析了數位家庭產業的相關文獻以及科技大廠的產品，認為雲端資料分享、即時通訊系統與虛擬桌面可作為數位家庭的功能之一，並以網路附加儲存(NAS)作為運作核心，透過設計與實作，每一位使用者都可依照本研究的教學，自行建置豐富功能的數位家庭，進而享受科技帶來的好處。導入功能的簡易說明如下：

1.雲端資料分享：家庭成員與各項裝置之間能夠自由地存取和同步檔案。 2.即時通訊系統：居家關懷，即時分享彼此的生活。 3.虛擬桌面：家庭成員共享單一硬體的資源，並擁有各自作業系統的獨立性。

Digital Home in a board sense means all devices can communicate and exchange information with each other via internet, then through the integration of hardware and software technology into home life to achieve more convenience and automated service. However, although the development of Digital Home has been lasted for over twenty years, but the main feature of Digital Home is still entertainment, because there is no new technology implementation program in the field to improve the quality of life. Based on this perspective, the study analyzed pertinent literatures and many popular products in Digital Home field, coming to the conclusion that cloud storage service, instant message system platform and virtual desktop are worth to be used as digital home features. As a result, the study took network attached storage (NAS) as the core component of Digital Home with implementation and verification, each user will be able to set up the all-in-one Digital Home by instructions in this study. A brief description as follows: 1.Cloud Storage Service: Family members can easily access and synchronize data to each other or any internet-connected device. 2.Instant Message System: Home care and share things anywhere, anytime. 3.Virtual Desktop: Family members share the same hardware resources, but have its own operating system.
