dc.description.abstract | 為了能夠在節省資料中心網路資源的同時不會犧牲網路應用程式的所需的網路效能,我們提出了網路頻寬瓶頸偵測機制來估測網路應用程式所需的最大網路頻寬。此機制透過“中間人”偽裝成網路連線的另一方來達到扭曲網路連線吞吐量的目的,從而能夠同時接收或發送大量的網路封包並即時偵測網路應用程式所能應付的最大網路吞吐量。因此,此機制的運作不需要在建立連線的用戶兩端做任何的設定與更動,在評估結束後“中間人”將會把被扭曲的網路連線恢復成原來的樣子,不會再繼續介入其中。我們實作了一個網路瓶頸偵測工具,並通過實驗顯示利用扭曲網路機制來預測網路應用程式的最大吞吐量具有相當高的準確度。 | zh_TW |
dc.description.abstract | In order to satisfy the tradeoff between reduce the usage of network resource and guarantee the maximum network throughput of the network application can be effort, we propose the NBD for determining the maximum network throughput of an application in datacenter environment. NBD with a man-in-the-middle masquerade itself to distortion the network flow for bottleneck estimation. NBD is fully transparent and does not required to modify any settings for the two end hosts. After complete to estimate the maximum network throughput, NBD will restore the network flow and will not intervene this flow again. | en_US |
