dc.description.abstractWe design an electrically-injected surface-emitting laser with metallic nanocavity aiming for near infrared regime. Our calculation shows that threshold gain and effective mode volume of the TE01 mode could achieve 2711 cm(-1) and 0.014 lambda(3)(0), respectively.en_US
