dc.description.abstractWith the aid of RHF atomic functions numerical evaluations of the oscillator strength sum S(1) for polyelectron atoms He-Xe are performed. Numerical evaluations of S(K) are formidable and those with non-integral K are unable to be evaluated directly. Therefore we also present a qunatitive relation between S(K) and K and numerical results of S(K) at least over a range of K from -2 to 2 both integral or fractional can be easily performed there-from.en_US
