dc.description.abstractFronthaul structure is introduced in 4G/5G mobile network with Remote Radio Head (RRH) and Baseband Unit (BBU), which separated from the Radio part and the Baseband part of the Base Station used in 2G/3G network. In 5G era, the data interface between RRH and BBU has different types for different features. Here we want to implement an Ethernet-based Fronthaul Platform with an already implemented MODEM, where the RRH handles the RF and the MODEM part, leaving the channel coding and other parts to the BBU. In this paper, we propose a solution for the implementation of this Ethernet-based Fronthaul Platform on Xilinx Zynq Zedboard, including the design and implementation of multiple interface.zh_TW
